MacBook charging problem

Hi,

Yesterday I was using my MacBook Air M1 (2020), while using it I was also using a mouse. Then I closed my MacBook and didn’t turn it off, just put to sleep mode, while the mouse being connected. I believe the mouse took power the entire time from the MacBook (as the mouse’s lights were blinking the whole night)

Today, when I woke, the MacBook’s battery was 0%, completely doesn’t turn on, anything.

I attempted to charge it, whatsoever when I plugged it didn’t charge, but when I disconnected, I discovered the charger was wet (on top of the plug).

I tried both ports , but didn’t charge. But when I took the charger cable and connected to type-C phone, it didn’t charge neither.

what can I do? could the reason be that I left it overnight?

If the charger is wet, there is water damage somewhere on your charger. I suggest that you use and try your MacBook with another charger. The reason is not that you left it In, the reason is that there is some water damage occurred somewhere. There is no water inside of the charger or the MacBook normally, so the wet plug has to come from some external source
