Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly - can't launch the app

If the problem persists even after restarting and deleting preferences, as Tom suggested, please run Etrecheck and post its full report here. Use the "additional text" button and paste the report into the text box.

Whenever the application crashes use Opt-Cmd to test the preferences. Does it still crash at start up?
