Why my AirTags are not Showing up on iPhone

What exactly do you mean by “showing” ? (e.g. not even listed … or simply lacking a current position)

Battery life is about a year … a “low battery” alert is designed to display in FindMy …

… although I suspect that this feature requires at least “some” remaining battery to function.

I also suspect that the “low battery” alert also works only while within Bluetooth range of devices of it’s own paired AppleID.

Note that I have no solid source for either of these last two “suspicions.”

I used to have four AirTags listed. Now only 2 show up under the Items tag on my Find My App. I replaced the batteries on both and one is still dead. The other one does not show up but is willing to connect to my phone. When I try to Connect it says that it is registered to another iCloud account. Did someone steal my AirTag or is it just not working right. I will take it to my local store and see what they say after waiting 1 1/2 hours or so to talk to someone at the Genius Bar. The store app will not let me make an appointment for AirTags. Not to knock Apple, but their stores are a pain in the butt. They always have a wait time for everything, even if I just want to buy something right now. Wait 15-20 minutes, and someone will call you and take your money. Hire more people= Better Customer Service.

thought that I connected AirTag to my iPhone 13. It doesn’t appear anywhere.

how do I fix that.
