Apple CarPlay

I'm able to speak to anyone via Apple CarPlay, But when I ring my partner I can not hear her voice ?

Carplay after 16.6 Since I updated my iPhone to ios 16.6 my calls through my carplay show I am on them and the person I am calling can hear me though I cannot hear them. Text and everything else seems to be working just fine. Any ideas on why or what to do. I have removed my carplay on my phone and reinstalled and it still does not work.

People can NOT hear me when I make, or answer calls in CarPlay. When I call someone or someone calls me, they cannot hear me, but I can hear their voice very clearly. I have a Lexus 250h, 2020. The CarPlay was working fine until I updated my iPhone to IOS 18. I am using the WIFI hot spot in my car (ATT service). I can make calls and receive calls while using Bluetooth and the caller can hear me. BUT when I plug in the iPhone and start CarPlay the Bluetooth turns off. All the other features work fine in CarPlay but not Siri or phone calls. When I ask Siri to make a call the cars display panel shows the microphone is off. The CarPlay screen does not show my phone connected.

iphone-carplay phone calls voice issue When using my phone via apple carplay to make calls between 5-10mins the call cuts out. The person on the other line can hear me but I can’t hear them. This doesn’t happen when just connected to my car via Bluetooth only when connected to apple carplay. Any help please?

Could it be that your partner has (accidentally) set her phone to “Mute”?

If your partner has an iPhone, then it is the button with the microphone stand with a slash through it.

Thank you, but that's not the problem may have something to do with her hearing aid settings or her Apple Watch?
