Unable to see recent photos on my ipad taken on iPhone, saved to iCloud. Recent means taken or saved from Facebook (old photos) within last few weeks!

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We recommend to verify that iCloud Photos is turned on for your iPad. This will ensure that any photos that are captured on your iPhone will sync automatically to your iPad, as long as you're using the same Apple ID account on both devices. To verify that iCloud Photos is turned on for your iPad, please go to Settings > Photos. In this section you'll want to make sure that iCloud Photos is turned on.
