AirTag - battery cover fault design

Jammed AirTag cover.

AirTag battery cover is difficult to remove while unlocked, when battery has been taken out. AirTag uses battery to aid the spring load on the inside cover plate.

Any suggestions? to this common problem. The more feedback apple gets, maybe for once, apple would make a change sooner rather than later.
