I have been my Grandaughter's Guardian on my Apple iPhone for a few years now. My Daughter who is an Android user wants for me to allow my Granddaughter to have her own account. If that happens then I no long wish to be Guardian.
Question; Does my Daughter have to create her own Apple account? And if so can she do this without an Apple device? Then she can be the responsible Guardian.

To use the full features of Family Sharing (there is a trimmed down version for Android users and Apple Music) you have to own Apple hardware. Your daughter would have to buy Apple hardware capable of setting up Family Sharing and also have her own account. If your granddaughter is currently sharing your account she would need her own account (a good idea anyway) and then your daughter would create an account, start Family Sharing, then invite her child to join.
