Unable to add Apple Wallet Pass at this time

Ok found out the issue with Ticketmaster. On the ticket app and online site if you click your barcode it is a rotating ticket meaning it refreshes every 3 seconds. By the time you try and download to Apple wallet it has already rotated to a different barcode. Because of this you are unable to download to wallet. Ticketmaster assured me that you can use the rotating ticket from the Ticketmaster app itself. Went to U2 concert over the weekend and they took barcode no problem, even though the venue requested tickets be downloaded to wallet. So on Ticketmaster, pull up your barcode and if you see the line going across it won’t be able to be downloaded. Hope that makes sense.

I’m having the same issues with livenation /Ticketmaster. It won’t let me add concert tickets even though I have in the past. Keep getting the unable to add pass message. It’s frustrating. Yes..my software is up to date and I have tried every thing under the sun to fix it. Weird thing is…I can transfer the tickets to my daughter (we share a plan) and on her phone she can save them to her wallet no problem.

I figured out how to fix mine. Go into your settings and resolve all the red dot notifications near the top of your settings. There should be a red dot with a number 1 for example and it might something simple such as agreeing to new terms of service or updating IOS. That's what fixed it for me and I can now add my ticketmaster tickets to my wallet.

I’m having difficulty adding Penn State Football tickets to my wallet for the first time ever. I updated my iOS to 16.6.

no one else in my group is having issues with the tickets. I reached out to the university and they don’t know of anyone else having an issue.

I’ve force restarted my phone multiple times, I’ve logged out of my apple account, but I don’t know what else to try.

I also got the "Sorry, pass cannot be added at this time" message when I tried to add a ticket. None of the fixes described earlier in this thread (remove expired passes, sign out of Apple ID and reboot) worked. In the end, the problem seemed to be that I was working from my Outlook mobile app, which in turn opened the link to the ticket in the Edge browser. When I worked from the email in the Apple mail app, everything worked fine.

I had the same error when I tried to add my Man Utd tickets to my wallet from my iphone. My way around it was on the 'add to smartphone' button in the confirmation email, if you hold it down, it opens up the preview (where you get the open, copy, share, save to photos...etc) options, I clicked add via that preview and it added it to my wallet.

Yep. Came here to see if it was just me. Some small consolation knowing it’s not just me.

I’m not resetting settings or anything more invasive. Just hope AMC catches on soon.

Was it a forced restart or did you just turn it off and back on?

Is you region, date, time set correctly?

Are you behind a VPN?

Sign out of your Apple ID account, restart your device and then sign back into your account.

Yes. I know. I have nothing expired in my wallet. I only have current or future concert tickets. Which were added with no problem. However, the past 2 months I have tried to add tickets for venues coming up…with no success.

Is your issue Ticketmaster tickets? If so are you adding them via QR code, email link, web link etc? Are you using WiFi or cellular data? Have you contacted Ticketmaster support? If so, what did they say? Ticketmaster was previously acknowledging this is issue was on their end a month or two ago.

Is your iOS updated? Have you tried a forced restart?

My iPhone 15 was preventing me from saving airline boarding passes in Australia. 2 different airlines same problem. The deletion of the single expired pass I had and it is now working again.

Thank you for contribution. That will certainly help some community members. However, some of the issues being reported here have other underlying issues. AMC theaters has acknowledged as of late July 2023 that the issue is on their end.

I did not. I called the ticket office and they texted me my ticket so I have it open in my browser. When I try to add to wallet from there it adds, but won’t authenticate so it’s still not useable in wallet.
