Unable to add Apple Wallet Pass at this time

I have purchased movie tickets in the past from AMC and have always been able to add it to my wallet. Today when I try, I am getting the error message of "Unable to add Apple Wallet Pass at this time" and I do not know how to resolve.

Ok found out the issue with Ticketmaster. On the ticket app and online site if you click your barcode it is a rotating ticket meaning it refreshes every 3 seconds. By the time you try and download to Apple wallet it has already rotated to a different barcode. Because of this you are unable to download to wallet. Ticketmaster assured me that you can use the rotating ticket from the Ticketmaster app itself. Went to U2 concert over the weekend and they took barcode no problem, even though the venue requested tickets be downloaded to wallet. So on Ticketmaster, pull up your barcode and if you see the line going across it won’t be able to be downloaded. Hope that makes sense.

I was having the same problem and I tried everything, rebooting, removing expired tickets, changing wifi, none of them worked. Then I realized on my concert ticket it said it will only be acquired to devices associated with my email , the one that was connected to my ticket master account, so I went to settings>wallet Apple Pay> scrolled down to transaction defaults> email > Updated it with the same one I used on my account, then it worked.

Ok yall try this make sure you don't have any other devise in your device list settings>name>scroll down device list >remove any ones that you don't have anymore

Go < to general > erase all content and settings > reset all settings. Only setting are reset > then go set up your face ID passcode and wallet again... do this after removing all passes and making sure the email address is good .

I was having this issue with Ticketmaster and it was confusing and frustrating me because I have saved tickets in my wallet before. I attempted EVERYTHING, when I finally decide to add them on my daughter’s phone is when doing I realized she didn’t have Face ID enabled and it was allowing me to save them on her phone. So I removed Face ID from my phone as a final attemp and sure enough I was able to save the tickets. So I’m assuming it’s Face ID

I too have tried everything under the sun. This is for Ticketmaster. iOS is updated, force restart, no vpn, region is correct, signed out of Apple ID and resigned in, there were no prior tixs to remove, made sure email matched on setting and Ticketmaster. When I switched off Face ID I am getting message that ‘Ticketmaster requires Face ID for enhanced security’ so won’t download to wallet without Face ID. When I try and put in wallet I get unable to add pass. Try later. Help?

Me either-I guess apple is not acknowledging this is their issue . I cannot add to m wallet a pass that I have, I then decided to see if I could add a credit card and that worked but still cannot add pass- I have tried everything suggested. My Daughter has a new debit card and she cannot get it to be recognized and has called apple they blame the bank the bank blames apple and no one is doing anything about it

I had this particular issue for a couple months. It happened with both Ticketmaster and Seatgeek so it's for sure an Apple thing. It's a pain in the butt but you have to sign out and back into the Apple ID on your phone. Heads up that you'll have to shoot through two step authentications and know passwords on various devices when attempting to sign back into your Apple ID.

Do you mean the iCloud email address? Or the email you use for your Apple ID? I haven't had any trouble adding things to Wallet but I never, ever use my iCloud email address (can't actually remember what it is without looking). I use the Gmail address that also happens to be my Apple ID.

There are recent posts here reporting that Microsoft emails were the issue (Hotmail, Office etc) were the issue. It’s stands to reason the gmail and other apps/services could be the issue. The only way to eliminate the issue is to keep the services all Apple. So, could recent security updates etc. have caused an issue which other services/apps haven’t updated for be the issue? Most definitely.
