Screen video problem or not?

When watching the video, the side lines were always black, but all of a sudden they started changing color.

Is this a problem with my iPhone?

iPhone Screen flashing gray while watching a video While I am watching a movie or youtube video or anything my screen goes completely gray for one second and fades back to normal. This seems to happen when there are bright colors or fast movement in the video. Is there any way to stop it from doing that? Thanks!

Hi gg202,

It looks like that color is being casted from whatever is behind it. Some windows have some level of transparency depending on the app you're using. However, this doesn't look like a hardware issue.
