AirTag battery cover difficult to turn

FWIW, we just performed the 2nd replacement on our four, 2-year old AirTags.

Experimented using a “glob” of silly putty.

Worked great; each and every cover came right off on the 1st attempt.

It created sufficient rotational “traction” w/o excessive “squeeze” force being required.

Is this a new AirTag? ... or have you been using it a while and are trying to replace its battery?
