After receiving an automatic update last night, my macbook pro seems to have dug up the previous owners user profile which was wiped cleaned when i bought it, now I can’t find my user profile! Help

If it is showing the previous owner's credentials, then it was not properly prepared for sale:

You need to have the previous owner go through the steps inorder to transfer it properly to your Apple ID
How many "Users" are on the hard drive? Is it possible that the old owner is still listed as a "User"? Your user name might still be listed on the HD.
I'm assuming you bought this computer directly from the previous owner, not from Apple Certified Refurbished. (Apple should have wiped out the previous user's info.)
While that might be true, this was never an issue before. I have owned the macbook since 2021 and i have never come across the previous owner’s info until now. Additionally and most importantly, all my shortcuts in the finder sidebar have disappointed. I seem to be having driver issues as well since the overnight update. I can only access my info when i go to macintosh HD drive and open the user folder
The point is that if the computer is not disassociated from the previous owner's ID, you can use it until there is an Apple update that requires the credentials of the Apple ID the computer is associated with which appears to be the person you bought it from.
