Macbook Pro 2017 w/ function keys - liquid damage

Have a macbook Pro 2017 w/ function keys. I had a keyboard cover but spilt coffee and now laptop will not turn on. Can Apple retrieve what is on the hard drive EMC3196? Hard Drive appears to be clean.

Hi, ciacobucci, I’d say maybe, yes they can.. you’d have to find either your local Apple authorized service provider or Apple Store with Genius Bar , contact either one, and take it in for an evaluation, and see what they have to say. The evaluation at an Apple Store is free, anyways… AppleCare+ might not cover this, so have your wallet and credit card close by, for when either one of them calls you after you’ve taken it in for an evaluation and probable service/data recovery/data retrieval… did you do a Time Machine backup before all this happened? Were you doing it regularly? I think this is a bad time to ask you that question, no?
