I have my Airpods (3) connected to my iphone v12. I have "hey siri" enabled.
Listen for "Hey Siri" is on
Side Button for Siri is on
Allow Siri When Locked is on
In Accessibility Always Listen for "Hey Siri" is on
(The phone alone hears "Hey Siri" when airpods 3 are in case, but not when they are in my ears).
I have rebooted, reconnected, Forget this device and reconnect. Nothing works.

I have the same issue, did you find any solution for this? With my Airpods (2nd Gen) i never had this issue but i do with the Airpods (3rd Gen). Literally have to shout "Hey Siri" for it to activate, i have tried all solutions and when using "Hey Siri" without airpods, my iPhone 15 Pro catches it absolutely fine.
