Keyboard problems

I have a new MacBook Air 2019), and today the right side of the keyboard stopped working. Just letters, not symbols. The weird thing is when I connected the laptop to my Magic Keyboard it did the same thing.

Also the letter e caused strange light effects on the desktop... I searched the net for solutions, and did the reset in Accessibility and PRAM resets and that sometimes I did resolve it temporarily. But it goes back to acting up, same pattern. Can I conclude thst the keyboard itself needs replacement, (which is something I can do, have done before) Since that is a bit of a pain given they are now rivetted in, I want to make sure that it is not something more simple, like a setting. Using an external keyboard, it types normally...even while the internal one keep typing symbols. I would say the keyboard is somehow screwed up....hardware wise, right?

Middle row of keys on MacBook keyboard suddenly became unresponsive The middle row of letters keys on my MacBook don’t respond at all—letters a-l and the modifier keys in that row. Does this indicate any particular reason/cause of the problem or a likely solution? The other keys work fine. A non-Apple external keyboard is working for now, but it’s cumbersome, so I would like to fix the built-in keyboard.

Problem with MacBook Air 13' 2018 built in Keyboard Hi everyone, I noticed that, when typing, there are some letters that have a problem: the "i" and the "u", sometimes, when I click them, two of them appears on the screen or they don't appear at all. I contacted the support and they made me do a combination with the keys, but nothing changed. I also cleaned the keyboard as showed on the Apple official website, but nothing. Can anyone help me?

I've never experienced this issue, but have read it can sometimes be corrected. Please see this Discussion thread about what to reset and how: How to Reset PRAM and SMC - Apple Community
