Apple Watch software update fails every time I try to download
Apple Watch SE, watchOS 8
I followed the instructions and it still says system update failed. Both my devices are on a charger
“An error occurred downloading the latest version of watch iOS on your Apple Watch”
The VPN was the culprit for me. As soon as I turned it off and tried the download again, it was successful.
I found out that I needed to turn my VPN off and it updated fine afterwards.
