Speaker Cutting Off During Calls (ONLY calls)

Hi, my audio works on all other apps, even FaceTime Audio, however when I am on a phone call people cannot hear me but I can hear them. I have turned my phone on and off, turned airplane mode on and off, took out and re-inserted SIM card to no avail. I saw a post that said to make sure “call forwarding” is switched off, but mine is stuck loading. I am not sure if this is an iPhone or phone carrier issue? I have an iPhone 13 PRO, carrier is AT&T. Any suggestions on how to resolve?

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16

Hey there nola148,

Thanks so much for using Apple Support Communities.

We want to help you figure out why the folks you're speaking on the phone with might not be able to hear you as expected. The Call Forwarding issue you noticed is good to know, as well. In this case, it looks like your iPhone may be having some trouble connecting to your mobile provider. This would be necessary in order to enable or disable the Call Forwarding feature you're referring to. With that being the case here, we want to recommend that you get in touch with your carrier to see if they can share some additional insight on how you can resolve this issue.
