I could be wrong, but I don't think any Macs support DisplayPort or USB-C (DisplayPort) daisy-chaining. Daisy-chaining is a possibility in the standards, but I don't think that means that every implementation supports it.
Macs which support multiple external displays and that have Thunderbolt 3/4 ports will often let you daisy-chain two Thunderbolt monitors, typically with the limit that both monitors must have 4K resolution or less. But there are few monitors that take Thunderbolt input. (Most monitors with USB-C video inputs take USB-C (DisplayPort) input, not Thunderbolt input.)
Other World Computing has some Thunderbolt hubs and docks that can split one Thunderbolt chain into three – and with one of those, you may be able to hook two USB-C (DisplayPort) monitors to separate downstream ports (provided that your Mac supports multiple displays). (If that sounds like something that would be useful, I would suggest contacting Other World Computing and verifying that their product has this capability. My impression is based on skimming the online manual while answering a question that someone else asked in these forums.)
