Apple Watch Workout

Just bought a new Apple Watch series 8. It will not remind me to start a workout. Start workout reminder is turned on. My series 3 would always remind me to start a workout. Is there a way to fix this?

How to disable auto workout detection on Apple Watch Ultra 2? I have an Apple Watch Ultra 2 on watchOS 11.5. As of late the workout app is starting randomly when I’m not actually working out. I’ll be in work focus and be doing something at work that seems to trigger workout to auto start, which turns off the work focus and stops those notifications. I’ve searched online to no avail to figure out how to turn off auto workout detection so it only turns a workout on when I turn it on. This issue seems to occur every 6 months or so and then an update either changes the sensitivity one way or another. I’ve submitted information via the feedback app, but nothing seems to come of it. I’d appreciate some way to turn this functionality off. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
