HDMI Cable/Adapter/TV Compatibility MacBook AirM2

I have a new MacBook Air M2 and am having trouble with the HDMI connection to my Samsung 2016 TV Model 6350.  The TV briefly goes blank from time to time . I don’t know if it’s because of what I’m using to get the HDMI signal to the TV.  I recently both the Anker 555 (8 in 1) Hub for the USB-C to HDMI connection.  And I got the Highwings 20 ft. braided HDMI cable.  Would either of those cause the TV to go black for a few seconds from time to time?

I want to return the Anker Hub no matter what.  But I don’t know what to buy.  Any suggestions would be most helpful.

The Anker Hub runs too hot.  I don’t necessarily need a hub….just thought it might come in handy someday.  I’ve even thought about the Apple Multi AV Adapter.  Would that run cooler and  be any better?  As for the  20 ft. Highwings HDMI cable, I really like the size, weight, and color but don’t know if it is causing the problem.   I’ve put the descriptions below.

I don’t do any gaming and just need a reliable way to connect my TV to the MacBook Air M2.  Thanks for any help you can give.

Highwings 4K HDMI Cable 20FT, 4K HDR High Speed 18Gbps Braided Nylon HDMI to HDMI Cord, HDCP 2.2,ARC,Video 4K UHD 2160p,HD 1080p,3D-for Laptop,Game Monitor,PS3,PS4,Blu-ray,Netflix Projector ect

Anker 555 USB-C Hub (8-in-1), with 100W Power Delivery, 4K 60Hz HDMI Port, 10Gbps USB C and 2 USB A Data Ports, Ethernet Port, microSD and SD Card Reader, for MacBook Pro and More

Hi apatriot,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

When trying to connect your Mac to your TV you do not need a hub. Your Mac has Thunderbolt ports. You will need an adapter to connect to your TV.

Connect your Mac to your TV
1. Connect one end of the video cable (or an adapter, if necessary) to the computer’s Thunderbolt port , HDMI port, or DVI port , then connect the other end of the cable to the TV’s video input port.
2. If you need to adjust the resolution on your TV, choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Displays  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
3. Select a resolution, or click Default to automatically use the best resolution.
4. If you want your HDTV to play audio as well as video from your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Sound  in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then click Output on the right.
5. Select your HDTV in the list of devices. If you want to play audio on a different device (such as your computer’s speakers or an AV receiver that’s part of your sound system), select it instead.
Note: If your Mac has a Mini DisplayPort , make sure you use a cable (and adapter, if necessary) that supports both audio and vide
