How to reset activation lock by Owner?

iPhone 11 Pro Max locked bought it a year ago from an old friend.. phone started acting weird do reset it now it’s locked to owner and he’s currently diseased wat I do

Recycle it and buy a phone you can use.

There is no way to bypass the activation lock.

The only other option is to contact their family. If they applied for, and received access to the Apple account of your deceased friend, they may be able to remove the activation lock. Lacking that, there is nothing you can do.
