Water in Speakers

Less than 1ml of water was spilled by accident on the right speaker grilles of my 2021 MacBook Pro 14". Immediately after this happened I grabbed a tissue and wiped the water off the speaker grilles, and that's the only action I've taken. Next day, the right speakers sounded a bit lower in general than the left speakers, but it was nothing too crazy. I thought that the macbook's speaker grilles were cosmetic and that a spill this small wouldn't cause anything whatsoever, so I lived with it for almost 6 months and nothing has changed, the laptop functions normally but the right speakers sound a bit off and I hear some occasional crackling from them. I know this sounds like I don't care about the laptop, but I live in a country were apple is not available and it's only the unprofessional people at the authorized reseller, who I fear giving them my laptop to check it, let alone repair it. What should I do?

if you are worried that they will misuse / abuse your data, you can Erase all content and settings on Mac before bringing it in to them. make sure to read about and create a Time Machine backup to make it easy to reload it back to the Mac.

if you are unsure of their competency to complete the repair, then your hands are kind of tied. you would need to shop your region to see if you could find someone else.

and, of course, you could "google it" to see if you could find the hardware, and find instructions on the repair steps to determine if it is something you could handle yourself. but if you do take it on yourself, you will most likely void any remaining warranty on the Mac.
