Renaming Bluetooth devices

Unable to rename device in Bluetooth on iPhone 11 Pro! I see MANY others have the same problem. C’mon Apple! Fix this problem! 😏

The Bluetooth device's manufacturer is the one who sets the "name" for the device. That would be true for Apple devices as well.


So to change the Bluetooth device name connected to your iPhone, you typically need to adjust the settings of the specific Bluetooth device rather than changing it directly on your phone.


It's also important to note that not all Bluetooth devices allow you to change their names. Some devices may have fixed or predetermined names that cannot be modified.
