Renaming Bluetooth devices

The Bluetooth device's manufacturer is the one who sets the "name" for the device. That would be true for Apple devices as well.

So to change the Bluetooth device name connected to your iPhone, you typically need to adjust the settings of the specific Bluetooth device rather than changing it directly on your phone.

It's also important to note that not all Bluetooth devices allow you to change their names. Some devices may have fixed or predetermined names that cannot be modified.

Not ALL Bluetooth devices can be renamed. If the device you want to rename isn't an Apple device, that has NOTHING to do with Apple. It has EVERYTHING to do with the manufacturer of the device. Assuming the device you want to rename is not an Apple device, complain to the manufacturer of the device.
