Apple pay problem

I created a bank account yesterday on N26 in Spain

and I tried to add the card to apple pay but it keeps telling me that the device setting for this region isn’t set for apply pay use

although N26 works in Spain

I contacted the bank and they told me to update the app and there’s no latest updates shown to me to do.

tried to unlink the mobile, shut down the mobile, uninstall the app then install it and tried the whole process again, but the same error keeps on happening.

I already live in barcelona Spain and my device settings is set Spain for the region
