I need to reinstall Mac OS Ventura, but unable to do the reinstallation while connected to my home network via ethernet. My IP wifi is terrible, but ethernet is very fast, but reinstallation using ethernet doesn't work.
Any suggestions?

it sounds like your modem may not be working properly. Try restarting it to reset it and see what happens.
Same issue here. “An internet connection is required to install Mac OS.”
Wired connection works great when you quit recovery and go back into OS. or plug into another computer, but ethernet network is not recognized in recovery. Using Apple Ethernet dongles, so no 3rd party hub or driver nonsense.
I have the same problem: reinstall using wifi: slow but ok; wired ethernet connection: safari works fine, but reinstall won’t work. It appears that one and a half hour of install time doesn’t take longer than 20 minutes, so the issue is limited, but my first Mac doesn’t leave a positive first impression. And there is nothing wrong with my cable or modem. Oh, now it doesn’t recognize my wifi connection either… I guess Linux wins.
What happens when you tried?
I receive an error message that states - “An internet connection is required to install Mac OS.”
