iMac authentication failed

I changed my yahoo password and now I am not getting my email on my iMac only. I’ve tried multiple times to login and used every option to no avail. I can login on Yahoo website without any problems. I still get all my email on my iPhone and iPad but nothing updating on iMac. Is this something I can fix myself? Or will I need to pay for professional help. I don’t want to subscribe for help.

Have you tried removing your Yahoo mail account and adding it back yet ?


Go to your mail app, click on the Apple logo in the upper left corner, click on settings, accounts, then click on your mail account, and click the minus (-) sign below that. Then simply click the plus (+) to add the account back.
