I'm trying to add Yahoo email on my iMac 2013. but I had this message:
Failed to authenticate with Yahoo!, please try again later.
please advise?

Try creating an app password: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN15241.html. Then, on your device, delete the email account, add the email account (choosing the type “Other”, not “Yahoo”) using the app password.

I'm having this same problem... somehow my Mail got messed up and I can no longer access my Yahoo through it... I have my correct username and password, but it keeps saying "failed to authenticate with Yahoo"... any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!!
