Waze alert not working in CarPlay

Why can’t I send a traffic alert to Waze in CarPlay? When I press Alert icon, it’s unresponsive on my VW T-Roc car’s screen.

CarPlay bug on Mazda 2015-2018 IOS 18.0.1 CarPlay worked fine in IOS 17.x on and an iPhone 15. Now, under IOS 18.0.1, it works, but if you are on a phone call and receive a WhatsApp message, the CarPlay app will crash, resulting in disconnection from the car (though the phone call will continue). It happens every time, even after erasing the car on the app (and the phone in the car) and resetting the phone.

How to disable low emission zone notifications in Maps? Low emission zone notifications in Maps block the view of the map and are difficult to dismiss. They are unpractical, distractive and disruptive for one who's driving. I live in Italy, where there are thousands of this zone, usually blocking only heavy vehicle traffic. On my route to work, I have to cross at least 4 zones and using Maps became genuinely impossible! They would be great if they could be customizable for your own vehicle but right now it's a “feature” that prevents the use of this app at all. Some cities have multiple zones and get a notification for each one of them, with a restricted view for 30 seconds or more it's an absurdity

Thank you Ramkhalawan!

As mentioned, open Waze on your phone, click on the menu in the upper left corner, click on View Profile, make sure "Go Invisible" is not selected (mine was!).

You have Waze in invisible mode. This happened to my wife.
