The volume on my Powerbeats pro is low. Besides the obvious volume button am I missing something ?

I am not getting the volume out of my Powerbeats that I want. I have studio beats and they jam. Besides the audio controls on the buds AND my player settings, am I missing something?

Had same issue on my newly purchased Pros (opened them today, July 2024). Eventually discovered notable volume increase turning off "sound check" in Settings>> Music>>> Sound Check. Turn it off and problem solved!

Hello Mistrchubbs,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

We understand that the volume on your Powerbeats Pro is lower than expected. We are happy to help.

Let’s start by resetting them using the steps here: Reset your Beats earphones - Apple Support

"Reset Powerbeats Pro

  1. Place both earbuds in the case. Leave the case open.
  2. Press and hold the system button on the case for 15 seconds or until the LED indicator light flashes red and white.
  3. Release the system button.

The LED indicator light will continue to flash white, which means that you can pair your Powerbeats Pro with your iPhone, Mac, Android device, or other device again."

If no resolution, we recommend updating the firmware of your Beats using the steps here: Update your Beats wireless headphones or earphones - Apple Support

"Firmware updates are delivered automatically while your Beats headphones or earphones are charging and in Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's connected to Wi-Fi. You can also use your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to check that your Beats have the latest version. Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS

Use your iPhone or iPad to check your Beats firmware version

To use your iPhone or iPad to check that your Beats headphones or earphones are up to date, go to Settings > Bluetooth, then tap the Info button  next to the name of your Beats. Scroll down to the About section to find the firmware version.

Use your Mac to check your Beats firmware version

To use your Mac to check that your Beats are up to date, make sure that you have the latest version of macOS. Press and hold the Option key while choosing Apple menu  > System Information. Click Bluetooth, then look under your Beats for the firmware version. With macOS Ventura, you can also choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click Bluetooth, then click the Info button  next to the name of your Beats.

Use your Android device to check your Beats firmware version

If you paired your Beats with an Android device, download the Beats app for Android and connect your Android device to a power outlet to update your firmware.

These steps may help. Let us know if you have further questions.

Take care.
