Air tag

Help please!!!! My girlfriend hid an air tag in my car. I don’t want to tell her that I know because I want her to see I do nothing wrong… however I’m wondering, when I get notifications saying the owner of the air tag can see its location, does that mean she’s checking in?

Basically, yes. She is tracking you via this AirTag she allegedly placed in your car. In most countries, tracking someone without their consent is illegal, regardless on how it is done. Apple did not design these AirTags for that purpose and why you are getting these notifications.

I already told you the reason why. Again, you are getting them, because her AirTag is "traveling" with you. This is to warn you that there is an AirTag nearby and staying near you while you are in transit. Apple doesn't differentiate on who placed the tag ... only that it will notify you when it's one that is NOT associated with your Apple ID.
