How Do you download music onto the phone? It seems that it is intentionally difficult / impossible.

I have an extensive collection of CDs. I had an Android phone and filled my MicroSD with the songs that I desired inserted into the phone and all was well. I purchased an iPhone and nope no MicroSD slot. I bought the 256 GB phone for the storage of songs. The about says I have 202.80 GB free. I'm constantly get my iCloud is almost full. I see no way the get the iTunes app to download my music to the phone! When I click on iTunes help, it says my computer isn't connected to the internet, yet here I am typing this?

Windows, Windows 6

  1. iCloud and your iPhone's local storage capacity are 2 very different and separate things.
  2. Unless you somehow uploaded Music to iCloud, it would have nothing to do with transferring music to your iPhone.
  3. Follow the steps in the support document linked below to sync your music form your iTunes Library to your iPhone. click here ➜ Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer - Apple Support
  4. Note that the music must have been imported to iTunes already and exist within the itunes library. iTunes cannot copy music from an SD card to an iPhone directly. click here ➜ Import media from a computer to iTunes on PC - Apple Support

Android devices and iPhones work very differently in reagrds to transferring content such as music. It would be advisable to let go of your android pre-conceptions and learn how the iPhone operates for a better overall experience.
