Download iTunes songs to phone

I have 1000 songs purchased from iTunes. I do not nor do I wish to subscribe to Apple Music. I want to play my music on my phone without streaming / using data.

This used to be simple, now iTunes program for PC has removed the music section for some ridiculous reason so I cannot sync to my phone via cable like I used to.

now it’s just podcasts, no music option at all.

How do I download 1000 mp3 songs onto my phone?

they are showing in my library in the music app, but no option to download.

iPhone 14 Plus, iOS 17

No, as I said, you can uninstall those newer apps and iTunes should return back to the way it was, though it's possible that you'll have to reinstall iTunes. But the newer apps and iTunes will not co-exist and have iTunes have it's former functionality. Note also that how much longer Apple will continue to update iTunes for Windows is something none of us will know, though I would expect that since they have those newer apps, development of iTunes will have ramped down if not completely halted.

Regards.
