Updated software to iOS 16.5.1 and now my 6 digit passcode disappeared on Iphone 12

When I updated my software on Iphone 12 to iO 16.5.1, my six digit passcode went away completely and got replaced with a real password with numbers and letters (I had to create one). Has this happened to anyone else? I cannot find the 6 number passcode anywhere on my phone.

iphone x won't recognize passcode I have setup up a 6 digit passcode for my iPhone X and now it wont recognize it anymore . ….I tried a couple of times …not working. I'm 100% sure about the passcode I selected . It there a software issue? Is there anything i can do without erasing all info and start from scratch? My last backup is missing about 6 months of data.

When setting a new passcode, select “Passcode Options” - you’ll then be presented with the 3 additional options from which to select:
