Hello Norway801,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities, it's great to have you here.

Transferring your data to a new device using Quick Start can certainly vary in how long it takes, but it's possible that this may not be working exactly as expected. However, we're happy to help share some information that should help get things moving in the right direction.

To start, we think that restarting the data transfer process from scratch might be your best bet. To do that, the first step will be to force restart your iPhone by using the steps here: Force restart iPhone - Apple Support. Once your device has restarted, see if you can take stock of what you're seeing on the screen. Depending on what you see, use the information below to proceed.

If the iPhone boots up to your Home Screen and doesn't have any of your data

In this case, you'll want to erase the device in order to utilize Quick Start again:

  1. Restore your device to factory settings: Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support
  2. Begin the Quick Start process again: Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

If your iPhone boots up to the "Welcome" screen that you see on a new device

From here, you'll be able to simply begin the Quick Start process using the link we included above. You shouldn't have to erase the device since the iPhone would appear to be already restored to factory settings.

If you boot the iPhone up after the restart and see your Home Screen with all of your data then you should be good to go!

We hope that this information is helpful.

Have a great day!
