Battery Health (Maximum Capacity) not showing up (empty) after it was replaced at the Apple Store

I have an iPhone XS Max and had the battery replaced at the Apple Store Eaton Centre here in Toronto just today. Set everything up since it was erased and I had to reinstall everything, charged it up to 100%. But then, when I checked the battery health, it is empty. Though the important message on top of where that maximum capacity is:

"Your battery's health is significantly degraded. An Apple Authorized Service can replace the battery to restore full performance and capacity".

It is weird cause I just came from the Apple Store where it has been serviced. Is there a possibility that they have installed a fake or not genuine apple battery? AT THE APPLE STORE...

Took my iPhone back to the Eaton Centre Apple store today. They replaced the battery and it says it is a genuine apple part now, and I can see the maximum capacity at 100%. The service called it a repeat repair cause somebody messed up yesterday.

I wouldn't have noticed the battery situation immediately yesterday, not until when I was charging it. The battery percentage indicator jumped from 56% to 98% instantly and all of a sudden it says it is fully charged. That is when I checked it and saw the empty maximum capacity and the battery degradation notice.
