Spell Check in Word on an IPad Pro

Does pages spell check all documents and text areas as it does not do so in MS Word on an iPad Pro? I have the option enabled but later find misspelled words unfortunately the words are in the intro paragraph on a resume cover letter.

Autocorrect ignores "Learn Spelling" words on IPad Pages I am new to pages but have recently begun to use iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard to compose. So nice! I usually use Word for Mac on my MacBook to compose and am used to autocorrect not ignoring things I've added to my dictionary. Yet consistently in Pages I will type a word that pages has ostensibly learned and then it will autocorrect it. I go back and fix the word and check to make sure it says "unlearn spelling" so I know it has been marked correctly and invariably it does so the words are correctly marked. It changes them to something else despite the learned spelling as it's being composed--I'm not running spell check over the whole doc. Help? How do I get it to quit ignoring the words I've told it to learn? I love autocorrect for general typing messiness, so i would prefer not to turn it off completely.

No spell check in 2024 on all iPhones The app store and safari do not support spell check or word perdiction. after 8 hours of apple support an apple store manager told me this is not a feature in ios and that apple will not fix it

Learn Spelling in Pages doesn’t remember added words I’ve created a document that uses old Biblical names and places. When I complete the document, I go through and review the spelling of those words identified by Pages as misspelled. I use Learn Spelling to add those words to the dictionary. Once the document is closed and then reopened, the same words are again identified as misspelled. Any recommendations?
