Why have the weather forecasts been so extremely inaccurate lately?

For the past several days predictions have been for clear skies no chance of rain but we have been having thunderstorms. It is frustrating.

Why is Apple's Weather app consistently inaccurate for temperature and storm predictions? For just about year now the weather app has been so wrong! Like today it’s -13 outside!!!!! What you can do about it is to report an issue to Apple through their feedback form: Feedback - Weather - Apple
