If you're experiencing an issue with voicemail notifications not showing on the voicemail badge, there are several potential reasons and troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check Voicemail Settings: Make sure that your voicemail notifications are enabled in your device settings. Go to your phone's settings, then find the "Notifications" or "Sound & Notifications" section, and ensure that voicemail notifications are turned on.
  2. Restart Your Phone: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve software glitches or temporary issues that may be causing the problem. Restart your phone and see if the voicemail badge notifications start working again.
  3. Check Network Connection: Ensure that your phone has a stable network connection, as voicemail notifications may not come through if you have poor or no signal.
  4. Update Carrier Settings: Contact your mobile carrier and inquire if there are any carrier settings updates available for your device. Outdated carrier settings might affect voicemail notifications.
  5. Check Voicemail Settings with Carrier: Call your carrier's customer service and verify that your voicemail service is set up correctly on their end. They might need to refresh your voicemail settings.
  6. Update Operating System: If you're running an outdated version of your phone's operating system, consider updating it. Software updates can often fix bugs and improve system performance.
  7. Clear Cache (Android): If you're using an Android device, you can try clearing the cache of the phone app. Go to Settings > Apps > Phone (or Dialer) > Storage > Clear cache.
  8. Reset Network Settings: If the issue persists, try resetting network settings on your device. This will reset all network-related settings, including Wi-Fi, mobile data, and Bluetooth. Go to Settings > System (or General Management) > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
  9. Update Voicemail App (if applicable): If you use a third-party voicemail app, ensure that it's up to date from the app store.
  10. Check for System Updates: Occasionally, a system update from your phone manufacturer may fix issues related to notifications. Check for any available updates in your phone's settings.
  11. Contact Support: If none of the above steps work, reach out to your device manufacturer's support or your carrier's customer service for further assistance. They may have specific troubleshooting steps tailored to your device and network.

Remember that the exact steps and menu options may vary slightly depending on your phone's make and model, as well as the version of the operating system it's running.

Voicemail notifications not showing on voicemail badge

You can set a sound for voicemail, go to -> Sounds-> New Voicemail.

Then you need to call your voicemail box number -> xxxx to listen to your voicemail messages.

Which voicemail box number you should call depends on your carrier.

Contact you carrier for notifications, some carrier support it.

From my carrier I get sms message when there is a voicemail.

The voicemail settings are controlled by your carrier, so contact your carrier.

Most of the information provided on the first post was relevant to the question asked. Only a small portion of the written post was declared to be invalid for apple. Plus, this clearly states that that is information for an Android phone, so 1-2-1-2 can find out that he/she/they needs to avoid that piece of information and listen to the other information stated.

I also noticed in another thread that you don't own an iphone.

I suggest you get some experience with your own iphone before giving out chat bot advice in tye iphone forum.

Your stated aim .in your profile is to get to level 10. Be prepared to spend at least 5 to 15 years of several hours a day of your own work to get there - we did.

Why include irrelevant information at all? It will simply serve to confuse people who are already having problems.
