My phone keeps blacking out and I think I am hacked

Ever once in a while my screen won’t allow me to click on the screen to maneuver between apps and the. It blacks out for a second or so. I feel like I’m being hacked. As anyone experienced this?

Hello,

I've never experienced the blacking out part but when my screen seems unresponsive it's because of some dirt or liquid somewhere on the screen which is being read as a touch. After I wipe off the screen it always starts working again.

If the screen isn't working on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

"If your screen is too sensitive or responds intermittently to touch

  1. Restart your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Make sure that your screen is clean and free of any debris or water.
  3. Disconnect any Lightning or USB-C accessories. If your screen works after removing an accessory, try using a different outlet, cable, or charger.
  4. Remove any cases or screen protectors.

Contact Apple Support

If your screen still isn't working, you might need to set up service for your device. Contact Apple Support."

Since you are experiencing the screen going black I believe your issue is likely worse than just dirt and recommend contacting Apple Support so they can help you diagnose the issue.

As far as being hacked. This alone wouldn't make me think my device had been hacked. Is there something else going on? Keep in mind it's very unlikely the average person would be the target of any sophisticated hack but adware and malware are somewhat likely.

I hope this helps.
