I tried checking up what’s wrong with my iPad recently and they said it was broken, how much are the estimated price on getting the charger port changed. It’s not the battery that is the problem, it’s the port itself.

Apple generally offer two fixed-cost tiers - (1) battery replacement and (2) other damage. If you have benefit of an active AppleCare+ plan, being an insurance product, the cost is reduced to a small excess/deductible fee.
For qualifying devices, in lieu of repairing and returning your own iPad, Apple usually exchange the iPad for a renewed/reconditioned device of the same model and specification. This results in a much faster turn-around for you, at no additional cost.

In summary…
Apple offers the same repair cost structure and options whether the iPad is one month, one year, or multiple years old - at least until such time as the iPad is out of hardware support (typically five to seven years after release).
Even if the charger port is broken? How will you be able to replace it tho? Since Apple released iPad Air 5 last year it is still considerably new.
