My Apple Remote just quit controlling the tv all of a sudden. Can’t fix

Been using Apple TV box on my tv for awhile. No issues. All of a sudden the Apple Remote won’t control the tv volume or to turn it on or off.

Apple TV Remote Not controlling Volume This is an ongoing issue that happens every now and again. All other buttons on my Apple TV remote work except the volume up and down and the mute button. I have tried everything...resetting my remote by pressing the control center and volume down buttons as well as doing a factory reset on the Apple TV itself. I have left the Apple TV unplugged overnight (which has worked in the past) and it's still not working. NOTHING WORKS! This has been going on for days and is a serious bug that Apple needs to fix. If anyone out there has an idea, please reach out. I am desperate to fix this.

Have you tried charging the remote or changing the batteries (old models have replaceable batteries).
