Apple TV Remote Not controlling Volume

This is an ongoing issue that happens every now and again. All other buttons on my Apple TV remote work except the volume up and down and the mute button. I have tried everything...resetting my remote by pressing the control center and volume down buttons as well as doing a factory reset on the Apple TV itself. I have left the Apple TV unplugged overnight (which has worked in the past) and it's still not working. NOTHING WORKS!

This has been going on for days and is a serious bug that Apple needs to fix. If anyone out there has an idea, please reach out. I am desperate to fix this.

Update to this...I unplugged everything. The Apple TV from my TV and from the wall. I also unplugged my TV from the wall and left all of that unplugged for a few hours. When I plugged it all back in, it worked perfectly. It's almost as if the TV needed to completely power down and then once it completely turns on again, the volume was working.

For anyone looking for a solution for this problem and have tried everything else, unplug everything. Worked for me.
