ios 16.5.1(c) text messages not visible with Mercedes COMMAND NTG 5.5
Text messages no longer transfer to the car after updating the phone to 16.5.1(c).
Is there a fix in the works from Apple? MB no longer supports this.

First, update your iPhone to iOS 16.6, which was released two days ago.
After you update, Force Restart your iPhone, by choosing the directions appropriate for your phone model in this link --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support
After you sign back into your phone, open the Settings App > Bluetooth > See your car on the list and tap the little circle with an i in it > Make sure Show Notifications is turned on
