Error AppleCare+ Monthly Canada

I can’t buy the AppleCare+ monthly subscription. I get an error message any way I try (Web, from the iPhone, Apple Support app, from a Mac).

I’ve been debating and troubleshooting with Apple Support for over a month and now I’m being told to go in-store, which I KNOW it won’t change anything because this is a monthly subscription.

I know for a fact that the problem has to do because I’m paying my iPhone in instalments but doesn’t make sense.

iPhone 14, iOS 16

Thank you for the screenshot.

Troubleshooting Adding iCloud+:

A. Server Error:

Overviewing you screenshot, there is apparently an error connecting to Apple's servers. So, try using another network. Or perform this on a PC.

I tried with another device and this was also escalated to Apple Care senior support, below is his answer but we all know that it doesn’t make sense that they will fix this in-store:

Hi Moises -

I’m sorry for the delayed response. We have determined there are no API technical issues with the website itself,  so they do not have a resolution as it is neither account-related or website-related.

Two suggestions:

1) Try downloading the Apple Support app from the App Store.  There should be a coverage section there to try and purchase it in-app instead of on the website.

2) An Apple Store or an Apple-certified retailer such as Best Buy.

Use the Apple Support App:

Apple is recommending alternative routes to take. So, start with using the Apple Support app. As the reply reads: "There should be a coverage section there to try and purchase it in-app instead of on the website." Get the app here: Apple Support on the App Store

Because it will take me 40 min to get to an Apple Store and I have a feeling they’ll just say that I have to call Apple support.

That’s at least 2 hours I could be doing something much more productive.

I guess I’m just ranting now because I’m very upset with Apple’s service. I understand this is a new offer but surprised it was not properly tested.
