Apple ID email change not reflecting in the sign-in dialogue box on my MacBook Using my MBP I have just edited my account details to change my email account. In the process it asked for a new password, but it reported an error, so I couldn't apply a new password to the new email address. I managed to change the password (but can't remember how, after trying a few things). Looking at my account details on my iPhone it shows the new email address under Sign-In & Security, so it appears the new email address has registered and been proliferated out to my phone. As this is a one access for all sign in, I thought this would work for all access requirements. However, when I try to sign into my Apple account on the MBP, using Safari to access account.apple.com, the dialogue box brings up the old email address. I have to click the sign on with a different account link to use the new email address. Shouldn't the new one be sed by this dialogue box? Also, when trying to add Apple Music as a service to Sonos, it says it doesn't recognise the email and/or password. Shouldn't Apple Music be updated as well? Or does that take ages to happen? Given your account creation date meets the criteria, you should be able to use it.

Unfortunately, you cannot. When a domain no longer exists, all emails associated with that domain cease to function.
