Bluetooth on iPhone 14 Pro keeps disconnecting

I want to find out how many people are having a similar issue, and probably info to you:

In May 2023, I purchased a new iPhone 14 Pro. During the first interaction, I already faced an issue: I wasn't able to transfer data from my old phone (iPhone 12 Pro) to this new one using the "Quick Start" functionality. Each time, the old iPhone gave an error (attached here) during scanning this "live" picture.

After setting up the iPhone manually, I started connecting my Bluetooth devices:

  • Garmin watch: I wasn't able to connect as it kept asking for a pairing code, and the pairing code each time disappeared from the iPhone screen.
  • Airpods Pro 2: They connected, but when I have them in my ears, I hear a continuous sound about being connected/disconnected. Within Settings > Bluetooth, I noticed that their status changes between Connected and Disconnected.
  • Car headset: Luckily connected, however, the car keeps saying that BT is connected or disconnected.
  • Apple Watch Ultra: When trying to connect using the "Quick Start" method, it didn't work. Manual setup, however, notifications from the iPhone sometimes work and sometimes not.
  • Smart Lock on my entrance door, which works via BT as well: Again, sometimes it opens automatically as it should, and sometimes not.

Here are the troubleshooting steps I have taken:

  • Network reset didn't help.
  • Factory reset of the iPhone didn't help.
  • I found out that if the device is active (e.g., playing music on the iPhone to Airpods), the BT connection stays connected, but only for Airpods; other devices still keep disconnecting/connecting.

I raised a ticket with Apple Support, and they did some basic remote troubleshooting (gathering some logs) but didn't find any issues. They asked me to bring the iPhone to an Apple authorized service center. After a few days, they returned it with the statement that diagnostics went ok and didn't show any issues with the hardware part, so there were no problems with the iPhone.

So, I raised the ticket with Apple again and spoke with 3 different levels of engineers. The last engineer sent me a Bluetooth profile to install and to generate special troubleshooting logs while reproducing the issue (I was able to reproduce the issue).

After a few days, they returned with a brave head, stating that the issue was due to me having installed a 3rd party VPN and AD Blocker. So, I made a factory reset and set up the iPhone without restoring from a backup, opting for a clean installation. I generated new logs and sent them to Apple again.

After another few days, they came back with the message: "This is a known issue, thanks for reporting. It will be fixed in an upcoming updates."

Engineer said that it should be within the few weeks.

Since that time, two updates have been released, and the issue is still not fixed(I am on iOS 16.6 right now). Today, I raised a new ticket (the previous one is already closed:)), and they told me that it will most probably be fixed in the iOS 17 update. So, I have to wait for another 2-3 months, resulting in an almost non-usable iPhone for 6 months.

P.S. They are not sending any statements, messages, or status updates by email. When asking them to send via email, they declined, stating that they are not allowed to do so. So, there are no proofs other than call recordings (hopefully, and I am not sure how long those recordings are saved).
