Charging Adapter Malfunction 140W

Usually I always charge my MacBook Pro with the original adapter that it came with, but when Im using it I hear a buzzing noice coming from the adapter?

The buzzing sound could indicate that an electronic component inside (typically a capacitor) may be starting to fail.


Did you purchase this power adapter directly from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller? If so, it would come with a one-year limited warranty that would cover manufacturing defects, and after it is examined by an Apple Technician that can verify that, you may be able to get a replacement at little or no cost to you.
