I accidentally installed my watch band upside down (Apple Watch 8). I know I was careless, no need to reiterate that.
Naturally, I can't get it off. It's a third party band, made of silicone. It's jammed where I can not press the release button. It will slide slightly back and forth, but that's it.
I don't care about the band at this point, I just need a way to get it off.

Ruined the band, but oh well.
I actually worked it to where I could stick a small wooden skewer up underneath one edge, and I was able to pop it out!

if all the suggestions people list Watch band stuck - Apple Community
does not do any good then I suppose your options are to
go to an apple store or official apple repair store and ask if they can do anything
or begin to destroy the bands connector using a thin drill, until you compromised it's structual integrety. enough to be able to remove the peices.
Per chance you have a Jeweler near by? If so, it may be possible that they can assist you with this.
Sorry, you had to go thru the trouble, but I'm glad you were successful getting the band off.
