Dim screen even when even my brightness bar is at the highest level

My phone is iPhone 12 Pro Max , version 16.5 . My screen brightness became all of a sudden , I have tried increasing the level of the brightness from the control center but to no avail. This result using my phone only indoor . Please help me out

iPhone screen keeps dimming I have followed all the steps as previously instructed by many others and turned off the auto brightness feature, but my phone will still dim when it tends to be warmer or I’m in the sun. IPhone screen brightness dimmed suddenly and won’t get any brighter I cant seem to find anyone who is in the same situation as mine. Before you ask, yes, i’ve went to settings and done the most recommended actions, such as turning it off and on, turning off the auto-brightness, display zoom, etc. and it didnt dim because it was in the sun or overheated or overused or that I have an old Iphone. My IPhone 14 screen went extremely dim out of nowhere, I was on the homescreen about to unlock it and suddenly it dimmed by 40%. It usually dims when theres tons of light outside, but i was indoors and under bad lighting. When i went to turn it up, it was already at full brightness. Usually it adjusts after a while but it has stayed extremely dim. Even now, it’s like 1/3 of its usual brightness and it is set to full brightness. I have tried everything and have scoured the internet and it seems like nobody has the same issue. I need help.

Hi ike952,

It sounds like you're having issues using your iPhone outdoors with the brightness setting. Using the Auto-Brightness feature may help. Here's how:

Adjust the screen brightness automatically

iPhone adjusts the screen brightness for current light conditions using the built-in ambient light sensor.

1. Go to Settings > Accessibility.

2. Tap Display & Text Size, then turn on Auto-Brightness.
