TouchBar not working

Suddenly the TouchBar has gone blank...

Status:

Installed latest update

Ran Terminal: sudo pkill TouchBarServer (successful)

sudo killall ControlStrip (No matching processes were found)

Several restarts also didn't help

.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Try to start up in Safe mode, then normal boot could solve your issue.

Start up your Mac in safe mode – Apple Support (UK)

If it doesn't help, try to check your MacBook Pro with Apple Diagnostics if it reports Touch Bar related error.

Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac - Apple Support

If error is reported or doesn't help, you'd better contact Apple support or take your MacBook Pro to your local retail AppleStore, Genius Bar or Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined your MacBook Pro there.
